Rome, June 12, 2024 – Welcome Association Italy is pleased to announce the participation of Deputy Secretary, Carlo Palumbo, in the exclusive event “Wine Tasting & Experiences Day,” a charity auction organized in support of Emergenza Sorrisi – Doctors for Smiling Children, a non-profit organization with which our association actively collaborates.<\/p>\n
Emergenza Sorrisi – Doctors for Smiling Children ETS is an association that has been working since 2007 to restore hope to children with severe facial deformities and burn sequelae in developing countries through surgical missions and medical training programs.<\/p>\n
The event was held at the Circolo Magistrati della Corte dei Conti in Via del Foro Italico 430, Rome. Thanks to the involvement of Prof. Foad Aodi, professor at Tor Vergata University and president of Radio Co-mai International, International Multilingual School, United to Unite Movement and AMSI, the invitation was extended to Welcome Association Italy, thus strengthening our commitment to humanitarian causes.<\/p>\n
The evening, sponsored by renowned institutions and with the invaluable support of distinguished partners, was a meeting point for prominent personalities from the banking, institutional and philanthropic scene. The auction, featuring fine lots of wines and extraordinary experiences, aimed to raise funds for Emergenza Sorrisi’s upcoming surgical mission in Burkina Faso to restore hope and a smile to children with facial deformities.
