Rome<\/strong>, <strong>Welcome Association Italy (WAI)<\/strong> took part as an institutional guest at the event <em>&#8220;Welfare Index PMI Lazio 2025,&#8221;<\/em> dedicated to the dissemination of sustainable and inclusive welfare models.<br\/>The initiative, which brought together representatives from the institutional, academic and social worlds, was an important opportunity to discuss the new challenges and opportunities of welfare in Italy.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Social welfare as a vision of the future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WAI&#8217;s participation stems from the recognition of welfare not only as a set of economic or corporate measures, but as a <strong>tool for social cohesion, participation and shared growth<\/strong>.<br\/>For Welcome Association Italy, social welfare is a network of relationships, services and opportunities that allow each person &#8211; Italian or foreign &#8211; to feel an active part of the community.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its daily efforts, WAI promotes a welfare model centered on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>reception and integration of international students<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Equitable access to health, information and protection services<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Supporting university and social life<\/strong> through an active and supportive community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>collaborations with agencies, universities and institutions<\/strong> to promote a more welcoming, equitable and culturally open Italy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A shared commitment to a more inclusive society<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WAI&#8217;s presence at the Welfare Index PMI Lazio 2025 testifies to the Association&#8217;s willingness to <strong>dialogue with the institutional and productive world<\/strong> to contribute to the construction of a welfare that leaves no one behind.<br\/>A welfare that puts the person at the center, recognizing the value of <strong>diversity, education and solidarity<\/strong> as engines of innovation and progress.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Social welfare is the heart of civil coexistence.<br\/>It is what turns rights into opportunities and differences into shared wealth,&#8221;<br\/>said <strong>Carlo Palumbo<\/strong>, Deputy National Secretary of Welcome Association Italy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Welcome Association Italy: a bridge between cultures and communities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With its expertise in the protection, welcome and enhancement of international students, WAI promotes a vision of welfare as a <strong>common good<\/strong>, built through collaboration between citizens, institutions, universities and third sector organizations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in the event represents another step in WAI&#8217;s journey toward a <strong>community welfare<\/strong> model, in which inclusion, responsibility and
