Varnelli and contemporary art: great success for Recanati event

A bridge between tradition and creativity promoted by Welcome Association Italy

Great success last night at the “Lorenzo Lotto” Auditorium of Villa Colloredo Mels for the evening “Varnelli, an anise for all seasons,” the second event connected to the exhibition “Seasons. The colors of eternal change” by artist Karen Thomas.

A large and participating audience of art enthusiasts, curious people and citizens enthusiastically took part in a meeting that combined memory, territorial identity and innovation through the intense words of Mrs. Orietta Maria Varnelli, the evening’s guest of honor. Her speech passionately recounted the flavors and values of the Marche region, but also the evolution of a brand that is a symbol of our region in the world.

One of the most heartfelt moments of the event was the presentation of the collector’s bottle of the famous “Sovereign Corrective Coffee,” with an exclusive label designed by artist Karen Thomas. The project was conceived and promoted by Welcome Association Italy in collaboration with Progetto Minerva, with the aim of enhancing the encounter between contemporary art, business and tradition.

Exhibition extended until Oct. 5

Given the great success with the public, the exhibition “Seasons. Colors of Eternal Change,” set up at the “Adelaide Gigli” room of the Villa Colloredo Mels Civic Museum, has been extended until Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025. The exhibition includes a selection of works that tell, through color and matter, the cycles of nature and the human soul, enriched by critical texts, written contributions and an art catalog available at the venue.
