Welcome Association Italy participates in Vietnam’s 80th Anniversary National Day Reception together with ASVI
A celebration of diplomacy, culture and international friendship
Rome, Sept. 18, 2025 – Welcome Association Italy (WAI), represented by Deputy National Secretary Carlo Palumbo, took part in the official reception organized by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at Palazzo Brancaccio, on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the country’s National Day and the conclusion of Ambassador Duong Hai HungInvitationNational Day of Viet….
Also present alongside WAI was theAssociation of Vietnamese Students in Italy (ASVI), with its President Vu Thi Bich Diep, once again confirming the close cooperation and mutually esteemed relationship built over the years between the two entities.
The ceremony opened with the performance of the national anthems of Italy and Vietnam, followed by institutional speeches and a performance of traditional Vietnamese music and dance. The evening ended with a buffet that allowed guests to learn about Vietnamese and international cuisine specialties.
“Participation in this event represents for us not only a gesture of institutional friendship, but also a confirmation of Welcome Association Italy’s commitment to strengthening intercultural dialogue,” – said Carlo Palumbo, Deputy National Secretary of WAI. – “We are honored to share this moment with the Vietnamese people, with Ambassador Duong Hai Hung and with ASVI, which for years has been a valuable reference point for Vietnamese students in Italy.”
