A particularly important institutional meeting was held at theEmbassy of the Republic of India in Rome on the occasion of the official handover of the Proceedings of the International Conference “Women and Diplomacy: Voices from the World,” held on October 2, 2025 at LUMSA University.
The Indian diplomatic headquarters, a point of reference for dialogue between India, Italy and Europe, welcomed the delegation in an atmosphere of deep cordiality and mutual esteem, confirming the embassy’s central role as a place of confrontation, multilateral cooperation and promotion of shared values.
The handing over of the Acts was not merely a formal gesture, but a symbolic moment of continuity between academia, youth associations and international diplomacy.

- Collaboration within the multilateral framework of the United Nations
In a global context in which India is a major emerging power and a key player in international fora-from the G20 to food security to energy transition-the diplomatic presence in Rome takes on even more significance, not least because of its connection with UN Agencies based in the capital.
