Assadakah and Welcome Association Italy: dialogue and cooperation for the future
Rome, Jan. 23 – The conference “Assadakah, 31st anniversary. History and plans for the future,” promoted by Assadakah – International Association of Italian-Arab Friendship, under the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital and the League of Arab States, in collaboration with Welcome Association Italy.
The event was a significant moment of institutional and cultural discussion aimed at enhancing more than 30 years of Assadakah’s commitment to promoting dialogue between Italy and the Arab world and outlining new prospects for cooperation, collaboration and shared planning for the future.
Among the speakers was Carlo Palumbo, Deputy National Secretary, who in the course of his contribution highlighted the central role of associations and entities engaged in social work in fostering relationships based on mutual respect, intercultural knowledge and building bridges between communities. A commitment that translates into concrete actions capable of generating inclusion, dialogue and cooperation at the territorial and international levels.
“In an increasingly complex global context, initiatives such as this show how crucial it is to invest in dialogue and cooperation between peoples. Assadakah and Welcome Association Italy represent concrete examples of how collaboration between associative realities can help build lasting relationships based on mutual knowledge and shared values,” said Carlo Palumbo.
The conference was attended by institutional, diplomatic and associational representatives, confirming itself as an opportunity for shared reflection on the value of peace, international cooperation and cultural dialogue as essential tools for meeting the challenges of the present and the future.
