Welcome Association Italy featured at “A Journey into the Soul of Oman” event in Rome

Rome, Sept. 12, 2025 – Welcome Association Italy (WAI) took part in the cultural evening “A Journey to the Soul of Oman: An Evening Between Dream and Diplomacy,” organized by Assadakah and hosted in Rome in the presence of diplomatic authorities, institutional representatives, academics and members of civil society.

The initiative celebrated the history, traditions and cultural richness of the Sultanate of Oman, focusing on the value of dialogue as a tool for peace and international cooperation.

During the event, Carlo Palumbo, Deputy Secretary General of Welcome Association Italy, spoke bringing greetings from the association and emphasizing the importance of intercultural dialogue:
“We are honored to have been present at an initiative that celebrates dialogue between peoples and cultures. As an association that welcomes and supports thousands of international students in Italy every year, we strongly believe that events like this are a valuable bridge to foster mutual understanding, exchange and openness to the future.”

Welcome Association Italy’s contribution, through Palumbo’s speech, testified to the association’s constant commitment to promoting integration, cultural cooperation and support for the new generations. In addition, the event offered a concrete opportunity to strengthen relations with the diplomatic and academic world, confirming WAI’s centrality as an active interlocutor in the processes of internationalization and growth of student communities.
