Welcome Association Italy at the ceremony for the 77th anniversary of the Republic of India
Rome, Jan. 26-This morning Welcome Association Italy took part in the Flag Hoisting Ceremony organized by theEmbassy of India in Italy on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of India’s Republic Day, held at the diplomatic headquarters on Via Sicilia in Rome.
Carlo Palumbo, Deputy National Secretary, participated in the official ceremony, taking part in the institutional and celebratory moment that brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Indian community in Italy, and various associations involved in promoting intercultural dialogue.
The event, marked by the traditional flag raising, was an important occasion to celebrate the founding values of the Republic of India and to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between institutions, communities and the diplomatic world, in an atmosphere of respect and sharing.
“Participating in such a significant ceremony means renewing our commitment to dialogue among peoples and respect for cultural identities. Occasions like this reinforce the value of international relations and institutional confrontation as fundamental tools for building cooperation and mutual understanding,” said Carlo Palumbo, Deputy National Secretary.
